Frequently asked

Common questions.

How does addiction treatment work?

At Oak Grove Recovery, treatment begins with understanding your unique needs. We offer medical detox, residential treatment, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Care includes individual and group therapy, family sessions, and holistic approaches like art therapy and life skills training.

What levels of care are available?

Our programs include medical detox in a supervised setting, residential treatment with 24/7 support, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using Subutex, Suboxone, or Vivitrol where it is clinically appropriate. How long you stay at any level of care is determined by the interdisciplinary treatment team based on medical necessity, stability, progress, and your treatment plan, rather than a fixed number of days.

What should patients bring to residential treatment?

We encourage you to bring comfortable clothes, hygiene items, and personal items like a journal or books. Our team can walk you through a complete list of what's allowed and what to leave at home.
